Unblock the ink in your Inkjet Cartride - tough climate solution

We are in a tough climate - no surprises there. It is even more annoying, shrieking so when you try to print that important letter, or contract proposal and the printer jams up. There are some tips and tricks to get buy - not quite the sticky tape solution but if your inkjet cartridge has clogged up - there are a couple of things to consider.

1. Inkjet printers tend to prefer regular use

2. Make sure your paper is in correctly, nice and straight and do not push it too far down.

3. Consider applying a little science to the problem of clogged inkjet printer heads

4. Remove the inkjet cartridge and then take a hair dryer

5. Run the hair dryer over the inkjet for two or three minutes

6. Don’t boil it!

7. The aim is to warm up the clogged ink so that it will loosen in the cartridge and start to work again. This is a bit like when you clean a pan and it is drity - you loose some of the debris by soaking in warm water. DO NOT SOAK YOUR INKJET CARTRIDGE IN WARM WATER!! But try to warm it up with hot air

8. This may be slightly messey - so put some newspaper down, do not do this in your living room over the best carpet

9. Replace the cartridge, most likely you should run the standard test page to re-align and then give it a whirl. If you are luck you should get a few extra pages, and if you are very lucky even more.

10. Let us know how this goes for you and if the hair dryer trick lets more ink flow in you inkjet cartridge.
