How do you explain how an inkjet printer works to a young child. Having spent hours producing their homework on the computer and then asking for a printed copy to stick into their homework book.

Mmmhh well that is a tricky question. Perhaps for a small child the easiest analogy is to imagine that there is a device inside with many small felt tips pens and they use the ink to copy the work you made on the computer.
