How do you explain an inkjet printer to a young child?

How do you explain how an inkjet printer works to a young child. Having spent hours producing their homework on the computer and then asking for a printed copy to stick into their homework book.

Their eyes wide with excitement as their masterpiece emerges from the inkjet printer.

Do not rush inkjet printer, take your time with my homework! How does this work they ask.

Mmmhh well that is a tricky question. Perhaps for a small child the easiest analogy is to imagine that there is a device inside with many small felt tips pens and they use the ink to copy the work you made on the computer.

Of course this is not actually how an inkjet printer works - the clue is in the "jet". However, we do not want all our young children throughing paint around at sheets of paper in order to pretend to be inkjet printers. We certainly do not want human inkjet printers! that would be crazy.

If you want to avoid creating human inkjet printers be sure to never run out of inkjet cartridges - to find the best offers on www.cheapinkjetsolutions.co.uk - select the brand and then the model. The results are ordered by price - with the cheapest at the top. Some of the advertisiers will even provide a free inkjet cartridge for some models - this is worth looking out for. All you will have to pay for these offers is the postage and packing for your inkjet cartridge. Good luck in hunting for bargains.
