Do Pandas use Canon inkjet cartridges?

An American Zoo in Cleveland Ohio, has an extensive recycling program that includes inkjet cartridges. They are committed to environmental programs and in 2008 the zoo began to use a solar-powered golf cart to carry materials and they implemented a policy to greatly reduce Zoo-vehicle traffic inside the Zoo.

The Zoo also encourages members of the public to recycle select materials of their own at the Zoo, including paper, canon inkjet cartridges and all inkjet cartridges , cell phones and the small, screw-in compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) that can be used to replace traditional incandescent bulbs.

They are also looking to create compost from poo! That sounds like fun.

In 2008 the Zoos' recyclding programme included recycling 803 inkjet cartridge and toner cartridges, many of which were dropped off by the public. We want to know if any of those Canon inkjet cartridges that were recycled were used by pandas. Maybe the Pandas print letters to send to their friends.

If you have heard of a great inkjet recycling programme - please let us know.
